Occupational Therapist - PRNHello! I’m Jennifer Kornegay. I am married and have three boys, one large dog, and too many cats. I spend most of my time doing laundry and hanging out with my boys in our van (driving all over town). I am also very active with my church and Topsail Schools. I have a variety of hobbies, including gardening, cooking, reading, BSF Bible study, traveling, painting with pastels, and playing tennis with my family.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from East Carolina University in 2003 and worked for ten years in Greenville, NC, primarily in skilled nursing and acute rehabilitation settings, focusing on inpatient traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.
While staying home with my children, I collaborated with other moms to start a non-profit community outreach program called Pender County Cooks. This initiative allowed us to share our passion for family, nutrition, and cooking through afterschool programs in surrounding rural counties. Although I was very sad to give up this endeavor during the pandemic, I am thrilled to be working as a PRN therapist again.
I strive to support and connect with others, empower personal goals, and help in navigating the complexities of care and recovery.

Nick Wallace
Co-founder / Account Control OfficerI have had the privilege of being part of the founding journey of Eastern Therapy, alongside Brooke. I stepped away from construction in 2023 to pursue a full-time role with Eastern Therapy. My primary role is to provide support wherever possible, with a particular focus on insurance and billing matters. I am responsible for all insurance billing as well as managing and balancing all patient accounts.
In 2012, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University and have managed numerous projects throughout the country over the past decade. I am also a licensed general contractor. Leveraging my license, Brooke and I designed and executed the renovation of our clinic, transforming it from concrete floors into a fully operational facility.
Outside of my professional life, I am a devoted husband and father to two wonderful little girls. During my leisure time, I cherish spending moments with my family, wherever we may be. I also have a passion for woodworking, and you can often find me immersed in various projects, crafting everything from custom furniture to home projects.
